“ I just got food delivered!!!! Mmmm .... It was fire! Everything tasted fresh and exactly what my pregnant self was craving. I ordered cashew nut chicken which came with white rice, shrimp chow mein and cream cheese wontons. Tons of food for a good price. They do there own delivery and my food was delivered in 30 mins and was steaming hot! Great service from the ordering to delivery. Thank you Golden Gong! This was my first time ordering but won't be my last. ”
“ Throughout the years, I've been here many times. I had a very nice lunch there today. It was a lunch special for 1199 which I thought was great price. It came with egg roll, egg flour soup, which was delicious and stuffed wontons. I picked king pow chicken as my entrée and it came with fried rice, it was very good and the price was excellent ”
“ The service here is incredible. The potstickers are pretty good. I tried the sweet and sour spare ribs which were good. I wish they made a plate with the bbq pork pieces like the ones in their appetizer. The ambiance is nicely decorated on the inside. On the outside the restaurant looks like it needs a coat of paint but so do most of the businesses on this street. The business is family owned and the staff is always nice. ”
“ Glad to have found a spot within 5 min of our house to get casual Chinese takeout. Tonight we ordered out Moo Shu pork and Chicken Pan Fried Noodles. I especially enjoyed the Moo Shu, it was hearty yet flavorful and exactly what I was craving. The Pan Fried noodles were a bit more oily than expected, but were loaded with fresh veggies on top. Both entrees were more than enough food for 2 people, and it was ready for pick up quickly. Overall a great local takeout spot with fast service, solid portions and reasonable prices! ”
“ There are some items that are hit and miss, but for the most part there are a good dozen-plus reliable options on their menu for a Chinese fix away from the big city. Their spring rolls, hot and sour soup, noodle soup, and pan friend noodles consistently deliver. Nothing is ever too oily, and the service is always fantastic and friendly. It's walkable in my neighborhood, which is a plus. If surrounded by the kind of places you go in LA and the Bay the score might be a half star lower, but between Northern Santa Barbara and SLO Counties you have Golden Gong, North China in Santa Maria, and on a good day Rice Bowl in Lompoc who are the top of the class above in an otherwise uninspiring landscape of Chinese food. The other places have things they do well, but the misses are a lot bigger. ”
